Mum was reunited with Dad, Dave Tanner, on 8th December 2024 at Warrington Hospital in the arms of her family. 
We will miss your hugs Mum, but we know that you will be with us forever. 
Diane Tanner, who passed away at the age of 79 on 8th December 2024, was at the heart of our family. She was strong and loving, and we’ll dearly miss her kindness and warmth.
A devoted mother to two daughters and a son, and a loving grandmother to six grandchildren, she built her life around her family, friends and relatives, and her motto: “Never give up.”

After the loss of her beloved husband Dave in July 2015, Diane remained incredibly strong throughout and her legacy remains one of love that touches everyone who knew her. 

Her daughters Lyns and Cath, son David, grandchildren Adam, Max, Anna, Emily, Issy and Theo, and Sons-In-Law Phil and Steve would like to invite everyone to the Church St Mary’s WA5 1RE, Walton Lea Crematorium WA4 6TB and after at The Ferry Tavern WA5 2UJ to share stories of Di and Dave, raise a toast and share a buffet.
